Mystical cultural tourism of Londa South Sulawesi

There are so many tourism place in South Sulawesi. The one of famous place is Londa. Londa is one of unique tourism of Tana Toraja. This place is located between Makale and Rantepao at Tadokon. This place offer unusual view that never we see in other places. This place is known as place where has unique funeral. At was Londa is family funeral and by the time goes by this place become popular because there are some many unsual view about the funeral and Londa become tourism place until now.

Several things which are we can see if we come at Londa. At there we can unsual grave. There are many death body was put on the wall of the cave stone by use boxes. Beside that there are so many skull which is more than a hundred years. In front of the stone there are so many tau-tau ( dolls to reflect the spirit of death body). Tau-tau is design as the personality of the death body and it is created as like as character of the death body. Tau-tau also get dressing with a dress which reflect that person.

This tourism is easy to be visited by tourism. Because the infrastructure and transportation already prepare with good. There are some special treatment when you some to visit at Londa. Tourist must ask persmission and bring sirih pinang and kembang (traditional food). Then when we come in the cave we prohibited to move the skull, bone and death body to other spot in cavebecaust there are several rule to put the death body and usually the death body was placed based on the family level.

About accomodation and facilities:

Londa can be access with private car from rantepao into Makale.There are some souvenir shop around there. The tourist can come into the cave with pay the ticket as much Rp. 5000 each person. Tourist can rent lampu petromax for the light when we came into the cave. And then there are some local guide who can guide us and we spent about Rp. 20.000 to pay the guide.
