The Dance of Dolphins in Kiluan Bay Lampung

Kiluan bay is one of the amazing toursim of Lampung the province of Sumatera. This bay was located in desa Kiluan Negri kecamatan Kelumbayang Tanggamus South of lampung. There is no specific history about why that vilage was called by kiluan. One thing that always belived by society in kiluan bay. There is a prince named Raden Mas Arya. He has amazing super power and make many people jealous with him. One time there is a man that also has super power. He challenges  Raden Mas Arya to fight. Because Raden Mas Arya felt that he will be death after fight. He has one request if he dead after fight he wants to be burried in an island that he wants. That why the island and the area near with the island was called kulian that is mean in native language is a request.

 There are so many reason that I choose why I want to promote this place. The first is in kiluan bay there are so many view that will  be enjoyed by us like the amazing of white sand which is very beautiful . Moreover we can see so many dolphins that want to be migration acoos that bay. We can see tens or hundreds dolphin across.

The trip that have we trough to get there. It is about 80 kilometers from center of Lampung town . It will take 3 until 4 hours. The trip that will be through is so hard because there are so many obstacle that will be face with, like road and bridge that was broken, landslide, and so on. Beside all obstacles that we got. We also can enjoy the view  like green of nature, the fresh air, and the unique house of lampung tribal that known as rumah panggung.

The trip not stop until there. When we arrive at desa bawang, we can see this vilage is very like home style in Bali because all the citizen that stayed at here are bali tribal. After that we can continue our trip by using motorcycle and take 50 minutes to get Kiluan bay. There is no choice because the road that will be face is so tough and the road is so tight to be crossed by car. Along the street we will  be spoiled by amazing view and also make our heart was beaten so fast because the road that we face with.

All of that will be paid with the amazing view of  kiluan bay. In there Not only domestic tourist that will be found but also many tourist from others country came to visit the beatiful view of Kiluan bay. The facilities that was bargained  not to much. If you dont have any friend to stay yo can pay the facility for stay in kiluan island. Tge distance from Kiluan bay and Kiluan island is 1 kilometers. We can get there by using jungkung (small boat). It will take 10 until 15 minutes and cost 15.000 rupiah for each person. There is one homestay that was bargined and consisted by 4 rooms that can be filled 5 until  6 people each room. That room cost 150.000 rupiah for each room. In that island we can feel the calm of nature, the view of wild animal jump on the tree to another tree like siamang, chimpanzee,and also kukang. We also can see honey bear try to find food from the under tree.

The major show that all tourist waiting for will be seen in the morning at 05.30 until 10.00 am. We have to rent a jangkung (smal boat) that cost 250.000 rupiah for each boat and carry 3 passengers and 1 boatman for 3 hours  to enjoy the trip in along ocean to see the migration of many dolphins. There are two kinds of dolphins that wiil be seen by us. The first is  tusiops truncatus (the dolphins that has mouth like a bottle). They have big body and a liitle bit shy with people.  The second one is stenella longirostris (the dolphins that have long mouth). They have tiny body  and very like to jump. All of them is very friendly with people and sometimes they will  came beside our boat to play with us. It is verye intersting to see them so close. If you luck, you also can see  green tortoise and scales tortoise.

The one of way to get tourist to visit and enjoy the view that bargain from Kiluan bay. There is held fishing competion. Kiluan bay beside known as the beautiful beach and the greatest migration of dolphin also known as heaven for fisher to come and fishing and that compettion will take many members and also invite the expert fisher to come and join to make this competition more spectacular.

Even though this place has million advantages that can be bargained for people. The goverment and also society should concern about the problem that always become through by tourist. Some of things that need to fix are the infracstructure of facilities like fix broken road and bridge and foundation for mountain side. The society that want to get additional income can icrease the homestay and additional facilities. The other way to make tourist more interesting to visit there is make festival or interesting agenda for promote this place. The other side that need to concern are the awarenees to keep our nature as good as before without destroy anything that supply for us so the benefit will be felt by us and also our grandchildren the future.
